Welcome to Bliss!

My name is Jennifer Lewis and I am the owner of Bliss Skin Care as well as the Aesthetician and Nail Tech. I opened my doors on Center Street, Nobleboro, Maine in October of 2020 after eleven years in the skin care and cosmetic industry. I received my Aesthetic license in 2009 from Capilo Institute in Augusta, Maine.

 The importance of providing people with a safe,  relaxing and blissful experience to escape the day to day stresses of our lives, became very clear to me early on in my career. Cocooned in the heated, soft facial bed with soothing spa music playing, clients often tell me how happy and relaxed they feel! And that's before the treatment has even begun! Laying down in a darkened, warm room where nobody can find you, free of distraction, is a luxury that's not to be underestimated. I love providing a sanctuary for people in this way, and this is why I call my business Bliss. My focus is on the restorative and self caring aspect of visiting a skin care salon while also taking care of someones skin and enhancing everyone’s natural beauty. The goal is to leave Bliss feeling relaxed, refreshed and the best version of yourself. Even after a quick brow wax many clients tell me that they feel so much better! It is amazing what a small amount of maintenance and self care can do for your self esteem and sense of well being. This is what gives me ongoing job satisfaction and what ultimately motivated me to start my own business.
